"Forbidden" Johnny Soyak and Matthew Bogosian, owners of Cigar in the Bottle, donated one of their unique, hand blown bottles of Grand Pommier Calvados (apple brandy) with a Fuente Fuente Forbidden X Cigar inside the bottle to the San Diego Chargers Taste of the NFL Celebrity
Dinner and Silent Auction which took place October 12, 2004 at the On Broadway Event Center in historic Gaslamp District in downtown San Diego.

This is the 4th year the Chargers have hosted this event to benefit the San Diego Food Bank and since the inception of this event, the San Diego Food Bank has been able to provide over 1 million meals for needy families in San Diego County!

The Cigar in the Bottle went to the highest bidder which happened to be none other than RB, Leon Johnson of the San Diego Chargers with a bid of $180.

The San Diego Chargers and the San Diego Food Bank have a long history of working together to combat hunger in our county. Providing and distributing enough food to ensure that no one goes to bed hungry is one of the many goals of the San Diego Food Bank. We are proud of this relationship and this evening of great food, music and football will allow us to help thousands of needy San Diegans. Guests met and mingled with players and celebrities in an eclectic setting, partake of some
extraordinary culinary delights prepared by some of San Diego's finest chefs, and bid on exclusive silent auction items including items autographed by LaDainian Tomlinson, LeBron James, Marcus Allen, Jerry Rice, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson and many more unique items like the Cigar in the Bottle.

This walk-around event with different food selections offered at 15 stations allowed guests to taste some of the finest San Diego has to offer. San Diego Chargers in attendance were, Quentin Jammer, Jason Fisk, Tim Dwight, Lorenzo Neal, Donnie Edwards, Jesse Chatman, Leon Johnson, Courtney Van Buren, Jacques Cesaire and Roman Oben.

Participating restaurants include Donovan's, Zen Café, Decos, Roy's, Bertrand at Mister A's, Morton's of Chicago, Pamplemousse Grille, Monsoon, Rama, Fresh, Zocalo, Old Venice, Cafe Seville and California Chocolate Fountains.
